A common misconception with overflowing gutters is that a repair is needed. More often than not it’s just a matter of the drain outlet is plugged with gunk. This of course blocks off the drain pipe causing water to overflow at the lowest point of stretch of gutter. Vancouver had a fairly dry fall and winter which didn’t expose plugged up gutters until now. How are your gutters holding up?
